We're building three things that put AI to work across Runway: role-based apps, Runway MCP, and Bot licenses. Here's what each one is and what it means for your team.
AI native, role-based apps.
We're building up the Runway stack with our new AI native role-based apps. Each one goes deep with property-specific AI, designed to reinvent a role rather than just add another tool to it.
Built on your Runway data. Role-based apps work from the Runway data your team already manages, like lots, homes, and packages.
Property-specific AI. Runway trains its own AI models, hosted in the USA and Australia on AWS.
Your team stays in control. AI does the heavy lifting, and your people make the calls.
Runway MCP, coming soon
MCP, short for Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that lets AI tools connect to other apps and use them. Think of it as a universal plug between your AI assistant and the software you work in.
Use the AI tool you prefer. With Runway MCP, your team can operate Runway apps directly from the AI tool they already use.
Direct access. Ask your AI tool to get work done in Runway, instead of switching between screens to do it by hand.
Runway Bot licenses: AI staff for your business
Runway Bot is a new Runway license type for AI agents to access Runway exactly the same way as your staff.
Two factor authentication required to log in. Agents seek permission first before updating data.
Exactly the permissions you give it. Each Bot can do what you allow, and nothing more.
Approved by your IT team. Bot licenses only work on certified client accounts that your IT department has approved.
Connect through Grok Bot, Muse, or (Claude Duet -coming soon). Pick the AI tool that suits your team, where available, and access Runway through it.
A team of bots. With Grok Bot, spin up a team of up to 20 bots, each with its own role, so you can multitask across them.
We've seen incredible productivity outcomes operating Runway this way.
